Interesting no one mentioned Huginn [1]. It's open, and perfect for "internet of things" stuff. I've done some of the basic IOT stuff that's mentioned in the article with Huginn (open doors at specific times, turn on lights etc). Sure it might not be as pretty as IFTTT (and I'm sure however IFTTT implement interfaces for IOT stuff will look great.. $30MM great) but they're working on it. [1] http://github.com/cantino/huginn |
