This depends on the person entirely because you can challenge yourself and push the boundaries in either one. If your friend enjoys visual feedback/things then it would follow that they would probably enjoy front-end work better, however if they enjoy problem solving and tend to be more logical in their thought process, the back-end may be a better fit. |
