I really like the broad coverage that articles like this give to the psychology of learning, but I wonder how important some of these principles are in a practical sense. Sure, the effect of studying and retrieving in the same context is a classic effect, but how strong is it? It's like reading an article on how to make money that doesn't even give you a ballpark estimate of how much money each strategy could make you. |
