As I see it, Amazon supports authors, but not the best ones. Amazon basically wants to condition people that the price of an e-book should be no more than $9.99 max. That is good for basically all except the most quality authors (and publishers), who don't necessarily need Amazon's marketing, but want to price their book higher. |
