I think I'm going to have to stop clicking on these ones. The future according to HN can be summed up as 30 years or so of Basic Income, after which we will be turned into paperclips by an unfriendly AI. Maybe it's inevitable, but then there's not much point worrying about it. It's just another kind of death. |
