I'm planning a move to the Bay Area soon from the DC area and am juggling a bunch of startup opportunities.

This open-ended question is probably for a startup person who has relocated from one coast to the other. What do you notice differently about startup founders, startup employees, and the general (non-tech related) public living in the area?

I'm interested in knowing more about the mindset, cultural and behavioral differences that struck you as dissimilar.
