You should have moved to Oakland. There's plenty of cheap real estate there, and it's on BART.

Oakland is getting expensive too from all the overflow from SF. http://www.sfweekly.com/thesnitch/2014/04/17/confirmed-again...

I've heard people calling it the Brooklyn of the Bay Area.
