Endeavor internally to drive your employer towards open sourcing pieces of the codebase (incidentally ones you've worked on) that are also irrelevant to your core business. This helps keep code more modular while also building up a public record of the employees' doings. If nothing else the experience itself will probably turn out to be quite healthy for your team. |
