There are some who would consider that the default behaviour of JavaScript in web browsers is unsafe. They went off and made things like https://developers.google.com/caja/ and http://www.adsafe.org/. In my day to day web browsing I don't really see good use cases for JavaScript. In addition, IMO rendering feels faster with JS disabled, specially on mobile devices (iPhone 5s). A part of your "sub 2%" includes some security researchers. Think about that for a moment. |
