Don't mind the lack of math skills. For a lot of programming tasks they are completely irrelevant. I studied some CS and later history at uni and I always felt that the things I learned studying history has been more useful for me than the CS courses were. Writing good software is very much about abstract thinking and good language skills. I think you'll find that the things you learned studying literature and philosophy may be a lot more applicable that common wisdom suggests. |
