In most of my work environments, I've worked with a lot of females and I have to admit that some of the work behaviours outlined are behaviours that annoy me and actually drive me to move companies (citing it as a part of 'work culture'). HOWEVER I don't attribute this to a single sex because I can also see it in the males. Same goes regardless of race and age. However I do believe that your gender does play a role in the workplace, whether you would like it or not. The only thing is that personality trumps gender stereotypes. |
