Micromanagement is the #1 problem I've seen with inexperienced managers (and some experienced ones, too). I'm surprised the article didn't mention that, although a couple of the commenters did, at least. You have to hire good people that you can trust to do the job, up front. Then you have to trust them to do the job. It's as simple as that. |
