That's actually a good idea. What would be better though is an "mini" version of the site with just the player controls and basic navigation functions. Would look super slick in the menu bar :)

Yeah a mini player would be great. Currently I just have a shortcut so that I have quick access to it.

The menubar item is great because the icon doesn't take up a spot in the dock either.

We are looking into Appcelerator Titanium to bring a more Native experience to the desktop. It's also cross platform.
