Not supporting a particular way of distributing wealth is not necessarily being selfish. There are good arguments for e.g. raisin/expanding the EITC instead. I don't have an opinion on the matter (not being a US citizen, I certainly don't know enough about the situation), but I think your insult is completely inappropriate. |
