I don't know. The hideous mock-up of a 4.7 inch iPhone 6 that's been floating around certainly looks like a transparent response to the trend of larger Android phones. Apple themselves admit that growth is coming from phones they can't compete with[0]. Their $600+ phones with 4 inch screens have been surpassed in both resolution and price.
