| Today people reported that McDonaldsEgypt's page apparently bought likes, identifying friends' likes that didn't make sense. Twitter shows more people identified this supposed "glitch". [1] McDonaldsEgypt itself admitted something was wrong. [2] I commented on a friend's post on facebook about the issue and liked to the Veritasium's video about the facebook scam, and the post is now silently gone. [3] Other posts are gone too. [4] The page McDonaldsEgypt is now just redirecting to /home.php. [5] This is further evidence that Facebook likes are a big scam.
And now we see that their policy for dealing with public problems is one of censure. [1] https://twitter.com/search?q=McDonaldsEgypt%20since%3A2014-05-13&src=typd. https://twitter.com/Diogocfrazao/status/466729752917995520
