What happened to Vita Cola? Only drinkable thing from Germany :)

I have East German parents and they lived on that stuff until the wall came down.

They do have one or two beers that are quite drinkable.

I found you have to drink a lot of it before it becomes drinkable which is a bit of a catch 22...
