Do they still require Facebook?

I don't have a Facebook account. I wanted to try/use this service in SF but was disappointed when it required me to sign into Facebook.

They recently rolled out a "log in with phone number" feature, so there's no need to have a Facebook account anymore as far as I can tell.

Got so tired of this that I have reactivated mine, but I don't use it except for these logins.

Facebook is no longer a requirement to use Lyft. Just a valid mobile phone number.
