I usually refer new users to this one page which shows that the extension can also be used in "allow-all/block-exceptionally" mode, which mode is less likely to break web pages (ABP, Ghostery, Disconnect etc. all work in such mode): https://github.com/gorhill/httpswitchboard/wiki/How-to-use-H... At one end of the spectrum, the extension can be used without no filtering of any kind, and the user still has a comprehensive reporting tool to see what a web page does. |
