Github is useless. The vast majority of companies that ask for source code samples don't even take the time to review them. Heck, these days you're lucky if your cover letter and resume are read in their entirety by a human being. The sad truth is that most companies are lazy and/or inept at hiring. Once you recognize that, you can either accept that you're playing a numbers game, or you can decide to evolve beyond playing the role of employee. |
