Incidentally, you mentioned threats to Eich above; I haven't personally seen any but I don't support threats of violence to him. I don't even have particularly strong feelings one way or the other about boycotting Mozilla. Mostly we're having a conversation here.
I do feel it's perfectly reasonable to point fingers of shame towards Eich for his donations and weaseling, and at Mozilla for elevating Eich.
