Having worked in many environments, currently cubicle style, which included personal offices, lunch room tables, and open floor, I find that it comes down to effective management more than the provided work space. By that I mean, we were just fine three abreast on a lunch room table because we knew what we were doing, who was doing what, and where we all were, and on and on. Too many times I see these floor plan discussions and just wonder if its an excuse for poor management or worse, developers. |
