There is no such thing as semantics (in the sense that you mean.) You are basing your entire argument on a bad intuition. You literally just made up a definition of "semantics" that excludes computers, and then Argue 'By Definition' (http://lesswrong.com/lw/nz/arguing_by_definition/).
