Lots of projection about why men are ignoring women. Maybe sometimes its nothing to do with assumptions about competence. Could be awkward unfamiliarity with what to do with a women in an admittedly male-filled industry. I don't mean that you ought to shoulder the burden of conditioning all the males; or that its fair. Mostly the world isn't fair. But its the current state of affairs. |
