The process itself is essentially identically whether you're on the SRE-SE or SRE-SWE track. The specific topic areas focused on will vary slightly, but the process is the same. (SE = Systems Engineering, SWE = Software Engineering. People hired from both tracks wind up doing the same work; it's mostly just about what background you're coming from.) |
