What you say is true, but... if it is a critical[1] task / area for you, you're better off reimplementing it anyway. Most existing work isn't so deep that concerted effort on your behalf won't improve on it - but only if you have the time to spend on it. [1] I mean this in the sustainable competitive advantage sense |
