That meshes with the interview process my SO went through, at Google, for an SRE role. Similarly, they said he could code in any language (his preference is C) but the interviewer preferred python. 45 min to whiteboard in C, you better have a backup set of markers. His feedback after all was said and done was "brush up on your scripting languages." |
