If I don't know something I've made it a point to tell them that. Generally, I follow it up by letting whomever know that I can attempt to discover an answer to the question. If the question is about how something works, I'll occasionally explain how I think it might work based on how I'd implement it, but again advise that it's just a guess and I really do not know. |
