It's understandable that recruiters are playing a numbers game. Imagine if recruiters were paid using the formula: % of filled position salary / # of contacted recipients This would encourage recruiters to contact only the best-fit(s) for the position. While at the same time reducing the "spam" some of us receive on a daily basis. A win-win. P.S. I understand it's nearly impossible to track the # of contacts. |
