He's suggesting that this headline ignores the period after the time when his family was on food stamps. The period where he had the financial means to live a fairly 'comfortable' life. The movement wasn't food stamps to filthy rich, but food stamps, to upper middle class existence, and then from upper middle class existence to filthy rich. |
