You guys need to understand that the slow streaming that netflix had problems with is actually netflix fault. They choose to use the cheapest peer possible(cogent). So them paying comcast to be a direct peer makes complete sense as comcast will not be sending 1/1000th of the traffic it is recieving on these peering connections. This has nothing to do with you having to pay more to stream other services. It has to do with netflix finally deciding to stop placing blame and further their own product. |
