Since the discussion about the flawed security protocol emerged here, I follow Telegram. Assuming that this is mainly caused by the Whatsapp takeover I am really fascinated how many people (and how fast) are changing, especially in an area - non tech-savvy consumers - where I would have expected the usual 'I don't care' attitude... The future will tell, but it seems that for many people this announcement resulted in more privacy awareness then the uncoverings of Edward Snowden.. Somehow sad.. |
