Even post 4.0 it isn't super reliable. Basic playback of HLS works, but we have had issue seeking, pausing for long periods of time and resuming, etc. I wouldn't be surprised if things like WebVTT(Subtitles), ID3 tags and other advances features also don't work well. 4.4 is supposed to be much better but I don't work on Android anymore, so I am not really sure. |
