a touch screen is essentially one big button. It hides away all the complexities of a physical interface. The problem with this is people tend to add a lot of extras. I wrote[0] that the internet radio thing cannot be done in the Tesla without a touchscreen. FWIW, this idea is slightly better than the one in my Tesla screen complaint, but still not any better.
