When you don't have a client, you should find a customer. It boils down to what your motivation is though. Not everybody wants to invest their time on a side project.. but if that's okay for you: 1. Pick a problem that you're passionate about and try to solve it in a better way.
2. Give it to a few people, ask them to tell you how to make it better.
3. Go back to step 1 Development isn't an end in itself. There are only so many books you can read - the real learning comes when you refer to a book/resource while you're trying product something tangible. |
