It's easy to break 1K if you factor in gaming or simply want a nicely-built machine. Case-in-point the Dell Inspiron line dominates under 1K, but if you want an XPS you gotta spend over the 1K mark. The Inspirons compete with the XPSs as far as specs, but the quality and build of the XPS machines take them a notch above. |
