Inexpensive mobile market in China is 90% closed source or reluctant open source where they give you something thats almost entirely blobs to barely satisfy GPL. https://productforums.google.com/forum/m/#!topic/mobile/KnEn... Most are squeezing all they can out of the MTK chipset and don't want their competition to know their mods. I'm betting they will flood US market with $80 MTK phones under the motorola brand |
