My MBP (mid 2012) lacks a # character. It can be accessed by tapping Alt 3, similar to the euro sign (alt 2), but whereas the euro sign is shown on the key, the pound sign is not. So every time someone gets one of these laptops, they need to google how to type the pound sign. How is that good design? |

On North American English MBPs, the # is shift-3, just like every other keyboard here.
