Also, AMD has chosen to fab Kaveri in a bulk process that trades off clock frequency for density (-> more chips/wafer -> cheaper). The HSA stuff could really be something exciting if they can get the software and OS support. Winning both latest gen consoles is bound to get some clever people spend cycles on it. |
