In addition to the responses already entered, the NFL (in combination with the NFLPA, the union that represents players) also requires athletes entering the draft to be three years out of high-school (typically 21 years old in the US). So, even if you happen to have the physical aptitude to play professionally at age 18, you are barred from doing so. |
