Define "serious". TransIP offers a similar plan to DO's $10/mo, with 1 core, 1GB RAM, 50GB disk (not SSD), 1TB transfer, and they let you use OpenBSD or FreeBSD, besides Linux, for ~$14. Their 2 core, 4GB, 150GB, 5TB plan is actually cheaper than DO's (~$27 vs $40). Not affiliated, I just have a (personal) VPS with them for a couple of years, and it's been fine. |
