Its probably worth mentioning that it is technically impossible to have a discussion about this (on hacker news) because virtually every submission about the topic is killed, as it is with previous times this comes up (https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=6824157). Fully agree that stifling / censoring is causing a lot more harm than good (as is apparent by a lot of the reactions here) |
