So everyone is mad cause they used their own approach to security. Now no one managed to break their crypto so far. Don't say it is bad unless you can break it. Don't go around write a full paper about how bad it is while you still can't break it. I still don't get why there is all this hostility toward telegram. |

No, that's not why people are upset at all.
People are upset because whether or not someone has been able to break their system under the constraints of the contest means almost nothing.
