For an example of what the chromeOS might end up like, take a look at this:

Ironically, its called gOS which implies strong google connections and thats reinforced by the integration of all the google apps.

I think it boots up in a few seconds, only has a chrome-like browser running and custom launcher for certain apps.

I was thinking about that as soon as I saw this. I think Google's strategy is a little bit different in that Google will be a browser first an operating system second.
