That blog post met with a lot of responses of the form "tl;dr but mongo was broken and it's fixed now, nothing to see here." Wasn't fixed then, doesn't seem to be fixed now [1]. And it's quite difficult to have a conversation with people who can write but not read. TL;DR Not surprised that a brogrammer response to all this would be "you jelly."
