I think that if you ignore libs, Julia is a better general-purpose language than other dynamic languages like Python or Ruby. Which is definitely not true for MATLAB :) This is an ultra simple web app, that does some calculations on the backend that would be slow in Python (or I would have to preprocess the data). |
