Notable inventions by IBM include...[only one thing invented in the last forty years]. Your claim doesn't really argue against the description "old dying giants." The best response might be that IBM is still profitable, but you didn't include that. |

The list goes on, and on, and on.
I don't really think IBM is an old dying giant, it's just lost its way a little focusing on short-term shareholder value. Ginni Rometty might not be the right person to lead IBM.
