Good call about typing the password twice being a good idea.

One thing that I find infuriating are sign up forms that include two password inputs alongside a sea of other fields.

What normally happens is that I have some validation issue upon submission, I forget to tick a box or something, the password fields are then cleared and I have to enter them both again. And so on.
