I agree with you. My post was only really trying to promote Agile over Waterfall. Never intended for it to be taken so literally. I hope people enjoy reading it regardless.

FWIW, I've had the "Real Engineering" discussion before -- way more in depth than you illustrated here. My grandparent response above is probably a bit of pent-upness towards those discussions more than anything about your article in particular.
