This is the core problem with outsourcing that we will also face in the software industry - when groups work isolated from one another - the things they produce get difficult to integrate and arrive with very different quality. Outsourcing is really not going to take over manufacturing. It will have its place, but it has to be carefully controlled and selected - not everything can be outsourced. |
